Aziz Rakla Is Bringing Positive Change Through TCF

Throughout his association with the Citizen’s Foundation (TCF), Aziz Rakla has aspired to remove the barriers of privilege and class in Pakistan. This is being done by imparting quality education among different regions of Pakistan. With its headquarters in Ontario, Canada, the Citizen’s Foundation aims to nourish the future of the children.

There are presently 58 operational school units in Pakistan started by TCF. Several schools, like Toronto Neelum Campus and Chaudhary Subhan Ali Campus, are presently under construction.

From April-November 2016, TCF had organized five fundraising events, including Regina gala & Fundraising on 5th November and TCF Canada, Montreal Gala & Fundraising on 24th September.

Some major facts associated with Pakistan:

·         As per the human development index of UNDP, Pakistan ranks amongst the lowest nations of the world.

·         The population of around 183 million people makes it the sixth populous country in the world.
·         Around 92 million adults in Pakistan aged 15 years or above are illiterate.
·         The expenditure of government on education is 2.1 percent of GDP.
·         72 percent of adult females aged 15 years or above are illiterate.

All these statistics show the need for a revolutionary change in this country. Aziz Rakla, with his efforts, is working to change these statistics to a substantial level. He also encourages other responsible citizens to donate for improving the future of the children in the country.
