The philanthropic works by Aziz Rakla have turned him
into an inspiration for those who want to dedicate their lives for the
betterment of the society. Though Aziz was altruist at heart from his childhood
days, it was after his association with the Citizens Foundation Canada that his
dream of helping the youth on a massive scale became a reality.
He became the president of this nonprofit organization
in 2005, and since then he has emphasized on bringing a change in the society.
Through his efforts, there are now 1376 schools in Pakistan that offer formal
education to children. Each school opened with through his efforts is equipped
with all the basic facilities, along with science labs, play area, library, and
an administrative block. The faculty at the school is also competent to impart
quality education.
Aziz Rakla believes that education will empower these
children to bring a positive change in future. He encourages the people from
across the world to donate generously to this cause. Apart from this, Aziz has
adopted numerous schools from Pakistan in order to improve their existing
conditions.
His efforts not just limited to imparting education in
Pakistan. He has also generously supported the job skills programs of
Mississauga YMCA. It was when he realized the work done by YMCA is shaping the
future of youth that he became associated with it.
